ConcreteGuard — Alexa Concrete Curing Monitor
About this project
Alexa voice concrete curing monitor with temperature/humidity sensors, automatic water spraying, and maturity calculation. Voice queries provide strength gain estimates and optimal formwork removal timing. The system embeds 5×DS18B20 sensors at varying depths inside curing concrete, monitors ambient conditions via DHT22, and calculates the Nurse-Saul maturity index (Σ(T - T₀)Δt where T is concrete temperature and T₀ = -10°C datum). When maturity reaches target values, relay-controlled solenoid valves automatically spray curing water to maintain RH > 80%. Ask Alexa 'What's the concrete strength?' to get estimated f'c percentage and recommendation for formwork removal. Perfect for mass concrete placement, high-rise construction, precast elements, and cold-weather curing.
