About this project
Build a dual-lane traffic density monitoring system using IR break-beam sensors and Arduino Uno for vehicle counting and speed estimation. Calculate traffic density (vehicles/km), flow rate (vehicles/hour), and average speed (km/hr) with real-time display on 20x4 LCD. Classify Level of Service (LOS A-F) per IRC:106 standards. Essential for traffic signal timing, intersection capacity analysis, and highway planning studies.
