Build a WiFi-connected smart switch that controls real-world AC appliances (lights, fans, pumps) from your phone via a web browser. This advanced project teaches local WiFi networking, relay control, HTML/CSS web interface design, and real-time device control. Create an Access Point directly on the ESP32 — no WiFi router needed. Students also learn how professional smart home systems work at scale. Connect a physical button for manual override. Add status LEDs to show WiFi connection and relay states. Build time: 4-5 hours.
