FrictionForge - Arduino Inclined Plane Friction Analyzer project banner

About this project

Build an inclined plane friction coefficient measurement system using Arduino Uno with MPU6050 accelerometer to measure tilt angle and LDR break-beam sensor to detect sliding motion. Calculate static and kinetic friction coefficients (μ_s and μ_k), determine angle of repose, measure sliding acceleration, and verify friction force equations. Perfect for understanding tribology fundamentals, force resolution on slopes, friction modeling, and mechanical testing in surface interaction analysis.
