About this project
PowerSense uses the INA219 bidirectional current/voltage sensor IC to measure voltage (up to 32 V), current (up to 3.2 A), and instantaneous power in real time. Place the sensor in series with any DC load — the IC performs all maths internally using a precision shunt resistor. A 16×2 I2C LCD cycles through four measurement modes (Current, Voltage, Power, Energy) via a single button. A 5-LED bar graph gives a live analogue impression of load level, and a buzzer triggers an over-current alarm above 2 A. Energy is continuously integrated (Joules → Wh) from the moment of power-on, turning the device into a pocket power logger.
