About this project
PhaseForge is a 3-phase AC phasor simulator built on Arduino Uno that generates three sinusoidal PWM signals, 120° apart, and drives three LEDs (Red, Yellow, Blue) to visualise balanced three-phase voltage as smoothly varying LED brightness. A 16×2 I2C LCD displays the current phase sequence (RYB or RBY) and animation frequency. BTN_SEQ toggles between positive sequence (RYB — R peaks first, then Y, then B) and negative sequence (RBY — B and Y swap), while BTN_SPD cycles through three animation speeds. The running-light pattern visually reverses direction when sequence is toggled — giving students an intuitive understanding of how phase sequence determines 3-phase motor rotation direction.
