About this project
VoltWave is an ESP32-based AC voltage measurement system that samples the output of a ZMPT101B isolation transformer module at 2 kHz, computes true RMS voltage, peak voltage, line frequency, and crest factor — then streams all four metrics live to both a 128×64 SSD1306 OLED and a self-hosted web dashboard accessible from any browser on the same Wi-Fi network. The measurement input is the 12V AC secondary of a standard step-down transformer, making the circuit fully safe for breadboard use. Students learn AC sampling theory, DC-offset removal, RMS mathematics, zero-crossing frequency detection, and ESP32 Wi-Fi web server programming in one integrated project.
