FlameSentinel - Arduino IR Flame Detection & Fire Suppression System

About this project

Build standalone flame detection and automatic fire suppression system using Arduino Uno with IR flame sensor module for rapid fire response. Detect open flames at 760-1100nm infrared wavelength with 80° detection angle up to 1 meter range, trigger immediate alarm and suppression relay, display flame intensity on LCD, implement multi-zone detection with directional indicators. Perfect for kitchen fire safety, workshop flame monitoring, chemical lab safety, and automated fire extinguisher control. Achieves <1 second response time with visual and audible alarms.
