About this project
Build an 8-LED binary number visualizer that makes the secret language of computers physically visible. Eight LEDs represent 8 bits — press UP to count from 0 to 255 and watch the LEDs flip in real binary patterns in real time. Switch to AUTO mode and twist the potentiometer to control counting speed. The LCD simultaneously shows the decimal and hexadecimal equivalents. The WOW moment: run the auto-count at a college exhibition and explain 'this is exactly how your CPU stores every number' — students and professors alike will crowd around it.
