About this project

Build an automated building evacuation timing system using ESP32 and laser break-beam sensors to measure evacuation performance during fire drills. The system tracks total evacuation time, occupant flow rates through exits, identifies bottlenecks, and generates NFPA 101 compliance reports. Features include multi-exit monitoring, real-time occupant counting, evacuation curve visualization on web dashboard, and SD card performance data for emergency planning optimization.
